Travis Perkins has an extremely busy Distribution Centre in Northampton where there is continuous heavy forklift traffic use. They were having a slip problem with all of their Goods In and Goods Out entrances.

Travis Perkins has an extremely busy Distribution Centre in Northampton where there is continuous heavy forklift traffic use. They were having a slip problem with all of their Goods In and Goods Out entrances. They had used several products to try to resolve the problem but each had lasted not more than a month before failing.

Travis Perkins approached Adept to ask if we could offer a solution that would be not only be effective but also long lasting.

Adept proposed an acrylic resin system, pigmented and broadcast with varying degrees and types of slip resistant scatters, pigmented bauxite, silicon carbide and bleached aluminium oxide were used, each one chosen to suit the area installed.
They have been so pleased with the success of the first phase installed that they have requested us back several times since to continue the system throughout their vast warehouse.
