Established in 1935, Allied Bakeries produces some of the UK’s most loved bakery brands, including Kingsmill, Allinson’s, and Sunblest. Their sites operate around the clock to meet nationwide demand.

Challenge

The non-stop nature of the bakery environment meant that Adept had very limited windows in which to carry out repairs. The floors needed to be maintained to a high standard without impacting production schedules.

Solution

Adept carried out essential joint and concrete repairs using **Bulletcrete** rapid repair mortar, chosen for its fast curing time and durability in high-traffic, industrial environments. We also installed clear demarcation lines within the production areas and added zebra crossings to improve on-site safety and traffic management.

Outcome

Work was completed quickly and efficiently during agreed downtimes, with zero disruption to baking operations. The repaired and marked surfaces now support safe, efficient movement across the site while maintaining compliance with hygiene standards.
