Introduction

Europe Snacks is a multinational manufacturer of crisps and snack products, supplying major retailers with a wide range of private label items. Their busy production sites operate at pace with a large workforce on site at all times.

Challenge

Adept was tasked with installing an emergency safety route throughout the factory to improve evacuation procedures in the event of a fire or other emergency. Stairways also needed anti-slip protection. All work had to be carried out during the quietest times with no disruption to production.

Solution

Using Speedy Line, a high-performance acrylic MMA resin, we installed a bold, clearly defined emergency route throughout the facility. The product’s rapid curing time and excellent adhesion made it ideal for this fast-paced environment.

We also installed anti-slip stair treads and nosings to ensure safe movement throughout the factory, especially in high-traffic and multi-level areas. All work was completed over weekends to avoid operational impact.

Outcome

The site now features a clearly marked, slip-resistant emergency route, helping ensure staff safety in line with site protocols. Stairways are also safer and more resilient, all delivered without disrupting production.
